Master Farmer Feeds (Pty) Ltd has a vacancy for fully qualified and experienced Store-person at its Feed Mill, Nutri Feeds Botswana in Pilane.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Sort & Label goods with details of storage location/section.
• Implement the 5S audit standards i.e. Sort; Shine; Set in Order; Standardize; Sustain.
• Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
• Cross reference incoming goods against the invoices to ensure there are no discrepancies.
• Reporting any discrepancies in stock to the Maintenace Procurement & Inventory Officer
• Keeping and maintaining detailed records of shortages and spares of items.
• Updating inventory management systems regularly i.e. excel spreadsheet or any related program
• Order required spares and equipment and follow up on outstanding orders.
• Ensure that spares and equipment are always maintained at required levels.
• Control and maintain spares supplying costs
• Implementing the FIFO (First in First Out) principle
• Stock takes of spares and equipment.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the storeroom and its overall housekeeping.
• Ensuring the Safety & security of the storeroom and items/stock.

Qualification

• A minimum qualification in Purchasing & Supply Chain Management or equivalent,
• A valid Botswana driver’s license, and
• At least 1 year of experience in warehouse and inventory management,
• Previous experience will be an added advantage.
