Key Responsibilities

  • All duties related to a busy district Hospital.
  • The Officer should be able to work independently and his/her responsibilities include among others:
  • Preparation of purchase orders for procurement with laid down supplies procedures
  • Preparation of requisitions and submit to supervisor for authorization.
  • Conducting physical stock taking.
  • Ensuring that supplier products are delivered as per the requirement.
  • Maintenance of proper supplier Records in accordance with supplies regulations.
  • Preparation of invoices for payments.
  • Verify that stocks are in agreement with supplies ledger balances and that all necessary entries in supplies ledgers have been recorded.

Requirements

  • Cambridge School Certificate plus Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies (CIPS) or Degree in Purchasing and Supply management or B.Com or its equivalent.
  • At least two (2) years’ relevant post qualification experience in a Similar operation or two (2) years as assistant Supplies Officer

Salary

C4/3 (P108, 444.00 – P123, 420.00 per annum)
