Job Title: Sustainability Coordinator
Job Summary:
Plans and coordinates the implementation of the Lucara Botswana Sustainability Strategy in accordance with the applicable environmental legislation and facilitates communication on sustainability with key internal and external key stakeholders.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Sociology or other natural sciences degree.
- 5 years’ experience working in sustainability, of which 2 years is at a management or supervisory level.
- Experience on developing sustainability reports based on GRI, SASB, TCFD, TNFD, is advantageous
- Knowledge of implementing ESG strategies in alignment with UNGC, SDGs, and IFC Performance Standards.
- Knowledge of applicable mining legislation i.e. Mine, Quarries Works and Machineries Act
- Knowledge of Botswana Environmental Laws
- Training in Public Speaking
- Light vehicle driver’s license
