A Swimming Pool Technical Officer maintains pool safety and operations by managing water chemistry (pH, chlorine, cyanuric acid, total alkalinity), operating filtration/heating systems, performing repairs (pumps, lights, pipes), ensuring health & safety compliance, and managing technical documentation and staff, focusing on preventing issues and ensuring clean, safe water for users.

Key Responsibilities
- Water Quality Management: Regularly test and balance pH, cyanuric acid, alkalinity, and disinfectant levels; treat water to eliminate bacteria; monitor filtration systems. Dose the corrective amounts of chemicals, fill brominators, fill chemical holding tanks, handling of HTH, DDAC, Soda Ash, to maintain the required parameters for all the swimming pools.
- Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pumps, filters, heaters, brominators, chlorinators, and underwater lights; perform preventative maintenance.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, manage chemical storage, and ensure compliance with regulations. Full PPE must always be worn.
- Operations & Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of tests, chemical usage, and maintenance; order supplies; communicate with management, contractors, and staff.
- Technical Support: Provide technical input for plant room projects, upgrades, and lifecycle planning; respond to emergency technical issues.
