TECHNICAL MANAGER (ELECTRICAL) – Strides of Success (Pty) Ltd

 

Strides of Success (Pty) Ltd is looking for a Technical Manager (Electrical) at their paper manufacturing plant at Plot 33184, Nkoyaphiri, Mogodltshane. Botswana

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day electrical and instrumentation maintenance of the paper machine and pulp mill.

Qualifications and Experiences

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent qualification
• A minimum of 6 years working experience in paper mill in Electrical and Instrumentation maintenance.
• Experience in Kraft paper Machine, Tissue Paper Machine, Mold Machines. ETP, Boiler, and pulp mill equipment.
• In depth expertise in diagnose electrical and instrumentation faults in pulp and paper machine equipment.
• In depth experience in HV & LV electrical systems, Transformers, Motors. DB s. Transmitters, VFD’s, Paper Machine drives & synchronization, Steam system controllers, Pulp consistency & level controllers, etc.
• Must be self-motivated and well disciplined.
• Must be prepared to work irregular hours if required.

Roles /duties

• Ensure the preventive maintenance of all electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Support process managers with electrical and instrumentation data.
• Manage maintenance cost within prescribed norms.
• Prepare and execute the planned maintenance in time.
• Maintain the inventory control of electrical& instrumentation spares.
• Manage the training and development of personnel
