Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance of all electrical equipment at remote lodges i.e., solar plants, generators, water systems and sewage treatment plants
- Servicing and maintenance of water pumps, boreholes, and well-points
- Regular tests of drinking, grey and black water
- Advice on any upgrade needed for any equipment including sourcing quotes and sustainable solutions
- Managing and setting up water and power budgets & costs
- Form and maintain relationships with external suppliers and contractors
- Responsible for maintenance of generators including knowledge of generator mechanics
Requirements
- A diploma/degree in trade (plumbing, generators, electrical, water systems)
- Valid driver’s license
