Key Responsibilities
- Undertake disease surveillance, prepare and submit samples to Botswana National Veterinary Laboratory.
- Keep all records of activities in the extension area.
- Implement BAITS regulations through undertaking arrivals and audits to ensure market compliance to EU requirements.
- Registration of communal holdings and ensure market compliance.
- Ensure that farmers tag their Animals and input in the system.
- Attend clinical cases and advice farmers on animal health and welfare matters (farmer trainings).
- Undertake any other related duties assigned by the supervisor to meet exigency of the service.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Health or Animal Science or its equivalent.
- Diploma in Animal Health and Production or its equivalent.
