INTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT: NO. 2 OF 2026 12 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT
VACANCY: TEMPORARY ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN
Reporting to the Geophysicist- Seismology, the Electronics Technician will conduct repairs and maintenance of Seismic monitoring network systems and Hydro Geotech instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge of SHEQ and basic Project management skills
- Installs and maintains Hydro Geotech instruments
- Monitors and maintains seismic network and seismology lab equipment
- Repairs and maintains network infrastructure telecommunications and electrical cabling
- Assists in designing, programming and maintaining telemetry systems
- Effective Power management for seismic network failure prevention
Requirements
- A Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized and accredited institution
- Minimum of four (4) years’ post qualification experience in electrical/electronics industry/program or related field
