Requirements
- Sealed Tender offers are invited from 100% citizen owned local manufactures (cooking oil)
- Manufacturers (Cooking Oil) who are operating well-established businesses in Botswana must, in order to be considered for the award of the contract, be registered with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority in the following categories: Code: 213 – General Manufactures, Sub code: 01- Processed food
- Lot 1 – priority is given to SPEDU region
- Lot 2 – open to all eligible manufactures
- Local procurement scheme shall apply (up to 15% outright price preference will be applied). Bidders who qualify under this scheme are required to submit copies of Omang for employees (at least 60% will benefit under employment), certificate of disability to benefit under people with disability and Omang for youth and women. (Only 100% companies owned by the target group will benefit under youth, women and people living with disability.
