Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Toyota Technician responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, dismantling, repairing, assembling, and conducting quality repairs to maintain Toyota vehicles in optimal operating condition. The successful candidate will road test customer vehicles to verify complaints and ensure that repairs performed have effectively resolved the identified concerns. The ideal candidate must possess excellent technical skills, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely with various tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to accurately diagnose faults.
- Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgrade vehicle systems.
- Perform routine maintenance services, including fluid replacement, lubrication, and scheduled servicing.
- Repair or replace defective or worn components.
- Diagnose and rectify vehicle leaks and other mechanical faults.
- Conduct road tests before and after repairs as required.
- Provide accurate information regarding service and parts requirements.
- Prepare accurate repair estimates, including cost, time, and labour requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and issues identified.
- Ensure workshop equipment and tools are maintained in good working condition.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Workshop Manager.
Requirements
- Must have achieved Toyota Pro Technician (G3) qualification or higher.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an automotive workshop environment.
- Sound knowledge of Toyota workshop processes and procedures.
- Experience working on Toyota passenger, light commercial, and business vehicles.
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure while meeting performance targets.
- Strong customer service orientation and positive work attitude.
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and over the telephone.
- Physically fit and capable of performing the duties associated with the position.
- Ability to work in a workshop environment and handle workshop equipment safely.
- Must be in possession of a valid driver’s licence.
- May be required to work overtime when necessary.
- May be required to attend training and development programmes as determined by the company.
