The General Foreman Sinking is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination and execution of operational, construction, mining, engineering and maintenance activities within the assigned area of responsibility. The role ensures that the work is performed safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved plans, production targets, quality standards and the Botswana statutory regulations.

Requirements
- Blasting Certificate & Shift Supervisor/Foreman certificate
- Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in Shaft sinking mining environment
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Shift foreman/Shift boss
- supervisor/foreman certificate
- Postgraduate qualification – advantageous
- Driver’s License, First Aid & CPR certificate
- Experience in workforce development, mentoring and skills transfer
- Extensive experience in vertical sinking construction
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects and working in African mining environments
