Underground Mining Maintenance Trade Professionals:
* Diesel Fitter Trainer (1)
* Auto Electrician Trainer (1)
* Electrical Coordinator (1)
* Electrician Trainer (1)

Role Purpose (Basic function of the position):
Lead the maintenance to ensure all mobile and fixed mechanical and electrical assets on site are maintained to the approved safety standards, maintain availability/ reliability and electrical installation and maintenance is optimised for the project.

Key Responsibilities

Servicing of equipment as per service schedules.
Liaise with the supervisors on all assistance required with machinery services, etc.
Repairs to equipment efficiently and consistent with the required standard of work.
Assist with special projects both on the surface and underground.
Correctly use and maintain all tooling and equipment used to carry out maintenance duties.
Assist operational and trades teams as required within competency.

Requirements

Open to citizens of Botswana only.
Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate (Electrical License if applying for one of the Electrical vacancies)
Current Working at heights certificate (Electrical specific)
High Voltage switching license (Electrical specific)
First Aid & CPR certificate
Driver’s Licence
Basic Rigging and Slinging certificate
Minimum 5-10 years’ underground mining experience
In-depth and extensive knowledge and application of contemporary underground mining practices to maximise safety and productivity.
