Redpath Botswana is looking for one (1) Project Controls Superintendent for the Jwaneng Underground Mining Development Project. The role is to carry out cost control, scheduling, forecasting, reporting, risk management, and performance analysis to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. (Open to citizens of Botswana only)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mange project controls activities including cost, schedule, progress measurement, forecasting and performance reporting.
- Develop and maintain project objectives, baselines, and key deliverables in alignment with client requirements.
- Monitor cost and schedule performance against approved baselines, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide accurate project performance reporting, trend analysis, and early warning of risks.
- Update and maintain detailed project schedules, proactively identifying risks and constraints and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impacts to project execution.
- Prepare, analyze, and present capital cost, schedule, performance reports for executive and stakeholder review.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in project controls within mining, resources or heavy industry.
- Degree or Diploma in Project Management.
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Expert knowledge of cost control, planning, forecasting, and earned value management.
- Highly analytical, commercially astute, and solutions-focused.
- Must have worked in a multicultural environment.
