Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain manning numbers, rosters, and coverage for all underground employees.
  • Planning all underground activities to meet the development schedule.
  • Manage and prioritise mining and ground control activities to comply with GCMP.
  • Planning all underground activities on a shift basis with each Supervisor.
  • Coordinate any Special Projects either underground or surface as required by the Project Manager

Requirements

  • Driver’s Licence, First Aid & CPR certificate.
  • Underground Decline Development experience
  • Experience working for Top Tier Underground Mining Contractors
  • Minimum 10 years underground mining experience including a minimum 5 years shift supervision experience (mining).
  • Shift Supervisors Ticket of Competency
  • In-depth and extensive knowledge and application of contemporary underground mining practices to maximise safety and productivity.
