Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain manning numbers, rosters, and coverage for all underground employees.
- Planning all underground activities to meet the development schedule.
- Manage and prioritise mining and ground control activities to comply with GCMP.
- Planning all underground activities on a shift basis with each Supervisor.
- Coordinate any Special Projects either underground or surface as required by the Project Manager
Requirements
- Driver’s Licence, First Aid & CPR certificate.
- Underground Decline Development experience
- Experience working for Top Tier Underground Mining Contractors
- Minimum 10 years underground mining experience including a minimum 5 years shift supervision experience (mining).
- Shift Supervisors Ticket of Competency
- In-depth and extensive knowledge and application of contemporary underground mining practices to maximise safety and productivity.
