Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and service Online UPS systems and associated DBs
- Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and fault diagnosis on UPS and electrical systems
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes and company standards
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
- Liaise with clients and internal teams on system status and upgrades
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering (essential)
- Valid electrical qualification / Driver license (e.g., Wireman’s License or equivalent)
- 7-10 years’ hands-on experience with Online UPS systems – installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Proven experience installing and maintaining UPS Distribution Boards (DBs)
- Strong understanding of power systems, electrical safety standards, and preventative maintenance practices
- Experience working with power systems in a Data Centre environment will be a strong advantage
