Key Responsibilities
- Participate in formulating policies and strategies for the investigation, prevention, redress and removal of anti-competitive practices and unfair business practices.
- Facilitation of ad-hoc research/projects/studies in collaboration with other Divisions to facilitate decision making on specific competition and consumer issues.
- Consultation with stakeholders in different sectors about competition issues to keep the organisation abreast of the market and industry environment.
- Participation in promoting public awareness on enforcement of competitive practices.
Requirements
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a relevant field.
- A Degree in a relevant social science such as Economics, Econometrics, Marketing Research, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- A proven track record and experience in Market Research and Analysis, and Evaluation and Analysis of Economic Data.
- Knowledge of Competition Law would be an added advantage.
