Job Title: VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Job Summary:
We are seeking for a dedicated and qualified Veterinary Assistant to join our company. The successful candidate will play a vital role in pharmaceutical products as per the Standard operating procedures(SOP’S) providing technical support to customers and ensuring all aspects of the dispensing and stock control supporting biosecurity, and production efficiency across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for dispensing and controlling the stocks of pharmaceuticals products as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Responsible for processing sales transactions and dispatching goods in the shop and the dispatch.
- Provide accurate information about products, services, and delivery schedules.
- Handle complaints with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain customer records and update databases.
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist veterinarians in the care and management of poultry health.
Requirements
- Para vet qualification (mandatory).
- Degree in animal science or diploma in animal health
- Candidate registered with Botswana Veterinary Surgeons council as a veterinary para-professional/vet will be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of customer service and stock control
- Data entry software
- Knowledge of spreadsheets, databases
- Strong knowledge of hygiene, and biosecurity.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail
