A volunteer role for a community-based psychosocial support programme in Molepolole, focusing on basic counselling, early identification of relapse, and caregiver support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic psychosocial counselling services (training and supervision provided)
- Support early identification of relapse and psychosocial distress
- Participate in community follow-up and caregiver support sessions
- Maintain basic session records and uphold confidentiality
- Adhere to safeguarding and ethical standards
Requirements
- Must be based in Molepolole
- Background or interest in counselling, psychology, social work, nursing, peer support, or community health
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to commit reasonable weekly hours for the project duration
- Persons with lived experience of mental health recovery are encouraged to apply
