WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT – NAMLOG

Job Functions

Responsibilities

1. Supporting the efficient operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.

2. Delivering and collecting freight around Botswana.

3. Keeping the warehouse neat and well organized.

4. Delivering and collecting freight to and from all over SA, Botswana, and Namibia.

5. Working according to 24-hour operational requirements; business needs will dictate working hours.

6. Operating warehouse machinery and equipment.

7. Processing orders and ensuring client instructions are fully implemented.

8. Ensuring Health and Safety Rules / Housekeeping standards are adhered to at all times.

9. Adhering to specific timeframes and completing daily tasks on schedule.

10. Complying with all directives from the Company and following company rules and regulations.

11. Performing all other duties and exercising powers related to the business as may be vested or assigned by the Company.

Minimum Requirements

1. BGCSE Certificate.

2. Minimum of 3 years’ working experience as a shop assistant or warehouse assistant.

3. Forklift experience (desirable) with a valid forklift license.

4. Physical fitness to work in a role involving standing and lifting for much of the day.

5. Reliability and conscientiousness — good timekeeping required.

6. Ability to work under pressure and pay attention to detail.
