LECTURER IN LAW (3-year fixed term contract)

 

Duties:

The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses. The candidate should be able to teach at least two of the following: Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Conveyancing and Notarial Practice, Property Law and Environmental Law. The Department reserves the right to allocate other courses in addition to those outlined above.

Requirements:

Candidates should have:

• at least a relevant LLM Degree;
• a Bachelors’ Degree in Law with at least a second class, upper division (2.1) pass/ GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent;
• show evidence of engagement in research and service;
• a relevant PhD, teaching experience at a university or comparable institution and demonstration of effective academic leadership will be an added advantages.
