He is seeking a very skilled planning manager for his Apparel Business in Botswana

Experience in Range planning; Mark downs; Mark ups; Stock rotation is required.

· Our client in Botswana invites applications from strategic, innovative and result-oriented individuals for the position of Planning Manager.

· You must be responsible for planning and implementing strategies for meeting the company objectives and goals.

You will be required to:

· Partner with merchants to size and forecast product/ brand sells and profit components
· Collaborate on best strategies to address product liabilities and develop action plans to liquidate in a timely and profitable manner
· Evaluate, analyse and report on business metrics
· Establish and maintain accurate demand forecasts and execute managing/ anticipating product changes, promotions etc.

· Develop, maintain and update tools, reports etc. to support the needs of the business
· Manage the development of annual, seasonal, monthly and weekly merchandise plans.
· Reconcile top down and bottom-up class plans to department plans and forecasts.
· Develop preseason plans and recommend purchase/ investment quantities and develop accurate receipt flow forecast
· Manage monthly department level open-to-buy-activities

 

Qualifications:
· The candidate must have a suitable tertiary qualification especially Bachelor Technology in Management.
· 6 years experience in senior management position
