InPlay is a new children’s leisure and activity centre and cafe; offering a combination of fun and good quality food and entertainment, in a family friendly environment. We are looking for a receptionist with exceptional customer skills, who will share our dedication to achieve our goals.
Job description:
• Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the centre
• Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
• Recieve payments and issue reciepts
• Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
• Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
• Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
• Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
• Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
• Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
• Update calendars and schedule meetings
• Arrange travel and accommodations, and prepare vouchers
• Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
• To take an active part in the appraisal and work review process and required training
• Name badges and uniforms will be provided and must be worn at all times
• This role entails shift working over evenings, weekends and bank holidays
Work Experience:
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Experience in the supervision of children at all levels.
• Experience in organization and resource management including the management of support staff.
• Professional Skills: Excellent skills in planning, analysing and coordinating activities
• Very good skills in establishing priorities
• A team player, used to work in an international and fast growing, dynamic environment
• Self-motivated, independent, winning and hands-on personality and strong negotiator
• Fast, critical thinker and conflict solver, capable of taking responsibilities when needed.
• Ability to manage a challenging workload under pressure.
• Ability to prioritize and think out of the box.
• IT Skills: Very good MS Office skills
• Education: High School
• Languages: Fluency in English
