MUST COME FROM AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY – SELLING SPARES

SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To grow profitable sales and focus on New customers. Total emphasis on Customer service. Special emphasis should be to ensure management of stock levels, preparing daily schedules and keeping fast moving stock, ensuring good housekeeping

Principal Accountabilities

Increase Sales

  • Grow sales volumes to meet the budget by product in the allocated region.
  • Manage and grow local customer database and focus on solid relationship building
  • Identify new business to canvas in the region and feedback to Branch Manager
  • Feedback to Branch Manager on potential deals as well as any National Deals
  • Maximise visibility in the market through effective time management and complying to 8-12 calls per day.

 

  • Attend weekly meetings with the Branch Manager to ensure that all sales opportunities are attended to e.g. A-Z customers, brokers in the area, local opportunities
  • Identify joint marketing opportunities with customers
  • Compile weekly call cycle report and plan

 

Promote Profitability

  • Manage controllable expenses

Administration

  • Implement sales and marketing strategies on time and correct for positive growth
  • Ensure local customers are equipped with marketing material.
  • Ensure sales related statistics, reporting and analysis are accurate and complete

General

  • Maintain high code of conduct
  • Comply with prescribed dress code
  • Attend industry events/meetings outside normal working hours in order to promote The Company and network for the country.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE:

  • The minimum education requirement for the job is a grade 12 certificate or equivalent with Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing
  • 3 years’ experience in the Sales Industry
  • Accredited selling skills training
  • Fluent in English
