Autonomy – The job holder works autonomously.

Delivers routine support services to others by using the organization’s safety, health and environment systems and protocols.
Provides operational support services and sometimes acts as first-line supervisors of a transactional operations area while using existing systems and protocols.
Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment and systems for emergency repairs, performs preventive maintenance inspections, assists specialists in setting up and testing new products/processes and installs complex systems with guidance.
Identifies shortcomings and suggests improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures, then delivers a plan for a small element of a change management program with guidance from a project/program manager.
Client & Customer Management (External)
Helps senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using sales/client systems and protocols.

Performs complex data processing using established procedures and testing new procedures to see if they might represent improvements over existing methods.
Data Collection & Analysis
Conducts research using primary data sources and selects relevant information to enable analysis of key themes and trends.

Explores issues and/or needs to establish potential causes, related issues and barriers.
Recommendations
Advises managers how to apply a wide variety of existing procedures and precedents.

Assigns short-term work schedules to a team of subordinates in order to achieve expectations and follow established timelines.
- A recognized University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Equivalent
- Industry related certification e.g. CCNA, JNCIA – Junos will be added advantage
A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in an ICT environment, 3 of which should have been at IT Network Administration.
At least 2 years at Supervisory level.
