Position: Systems Engineer

Applicants should have:
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting with Multiple Server Operating Systems including Linux and Microsoft Windows Server
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting with Hypervisors inc. VMWare VSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V and KVM
• Experience in networking TCP/IP and related concepts, routing, bridging, NAT etc.
• Experience with Storage Area Networks(SAN) and Network Attached Devices(NAS)
• Experience with Firewalls, VPN, IPS/IDS systems

• Experience with monitoring systems (PRTG)
• at least a basic command of the Unix/Linux Command Line Interface
• Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python)
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a Professional IT Services organization
• Valid driver’s license
• Degree/Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science or its equivalent
• Aged between 23 and 30
Applicant Duties:
• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with Replic8 Team to implement those fixes
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Provide 1st and 2nd level support
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
