Define and execute strategic client plans, within a defined TPS Client Portfolio that will ensure the development of strong business relationships, with the purpose of ensuring client profitability, increased revenue, risk optimisation and consistent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Ensure annual financial targets and goals are met for the individual client portfolio across the TPS franchise contribute to and meet sales and revenue target as set in the annual budget
- Manage the pipeline, realisation of revenue and monitor the progress of the portfolio. Proactively manage any possible attrition from existing revenue.
- Plan, coordinate, manage, develop and grow the portfolio by providing thought leadership/value adding transaction banking solutions with cross sell opportunities.
- Understand the defined client portfolio in terms of size, market, concentration, risk portfolio, return, potential, buyer behaviours and competitor analysis within the TPS franchise for the relevant product sets.
- Execute Stanbic Bank’s global sales strategy within the defined client portfolio, building relationships with key decision makers and senior leadership within the portfolio and industry.
Preferred Qualification And Experience
- Relevant tertiary business degree qualifications .
- A post graduate academic qualification in business related studies considered advantageous.
- COP certificate is a requisite.
- 5-7 years’ relevant experience in sales / sales management position.
Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise
Sufficient relevant experience in a similar role with exposure to cash management and trade finance.
A proven track record of consultative selling to clients with complex buying behaviour.
Experience working within a regional regulatory environment
Appreciation of the Relationship Manager model
Deep understanding of Portfolio Management.
