HUMAN RESOURCE CONSULTANT

Job Summary
Reporting to the Senior Human Resource Business Partner, the incumbent is responsible for the provision of efficient administrative support for the Human Resource Department towards excellence in service delivery in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

 

Key Performance Areas

• Participates in the recruitment process of clerical positions, shortlisting, preparing documentation for interviews, monitoring responses and conducting interviews with Line Managers in accordance with the Company Recruitment Procedures

• Manages the process of Work and Residence Permit applications of expatriate employee, liaising with the Department of Labour and Immigration

• Ensures that staff personal files, and other records are kept up to date, in a sequential and appropriately classified manner. and that all essential employment Shared Services documents are in place. • Management of incoming and outgoing mail

 

• Assists in the implementation of Human Resources projects/ exercises as identified from time to time
• Payroll Administration
• Administration of all staff benefits and Liaising with the Corporate Division of Botswana life to obtain staff benefit claims (Group Life or disability claim)
• Submits all medical aid claims and processes the necessary documentation including new applicants
• Coordinates business annual leave plans, keeps them updated and actualized. monitors and reports trends on monthly basis

• Assists in implementing and managing the Wellness Programme and other Health Awareness Programmes that facilitate the provision of responsive services in line with employee needs.
• In liaison with HR Executives, coordinates new employees onboarding
• In liaison with Learning and Developments, coordinates new employees’ induction

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources Management, Social Science or any related field

 

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• Two (2) years’ related work experience
• Excellent interpersonal relations
• Proficiency in Computer Applications (at least Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong planning and organizing skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
