The High Commission of the Republic of Namibia to Botswana hereby invites applications for the temporary position of House Parent for students living with disabilities in Gaborone (Contract ends 31 December 2018). Applications are invited from suitably qualified Botswana Citizens with at least BGCSE or JCE able to start as soon as possible. Interested candidates shall be responsible for the following duties.
-To look after the well-being of students, preparation of meals and support activities for daily living to students with disabilities

-To assist in management of disabling conditions and health issues.
-To keep the house clean.
-To undertake any other duties required to meet the exigencies of service.
Applicants are required to have the following skills and competencies
-Knowledge of first aid
-HIV/AIDS awarness
-Physically and emotionally strong
-Neat appearance and self supervision
-Mature and responsible behaviour and good temperament
-Fluent in English
