Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the processing of claims as guided by the workflow process, and ensuring the accurate capturing of claim amounts. The incumbent will further be responsible for processing refunds as well as handling client queries and inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and process daily claim requests received from clients, banks and brokers
- Ensure completeness of required do currents to facilitate timeous processing of claims.
- Prepare payment vouchers for accepted claims and forward to the Claims and Underwriting Manager for authorization.
- Accurate capturing of all cheques/EFT payments.
- Ensure accurate and timeous processing of refunds.
- Preparation of weekly and monthly claims reports.
- Ensure prompt and effective resolution of client queries.
Required Qualifications:
The right candidate should have a University degree in Insurance, Business Management, Commerce or any Business related degree, with 3 years post qualification experience in financial services
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Life Office operations and procedures
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package
- Attention to detail
