DIALYSIS MEDICAL DOCTOR – Renal Care Institute

Renal Care Institute is a specialized renal health clinic with a mandate of providing holistic care to patients with kidney diseases. We offer a wide array of services including consultative, diagnostic and haemodialysis treatment services for patients in all stages of kidney disease, from earliest detectable changes in kidney function through end-stage kidney disease. We are therefore looking for new Candidates to join our exciting team.

DIALYSIS MEDICAL DOCTOR

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for the diagnosis, treatment and management of medical conditions which affects the kidneys.
• Management of a wide range of systemic disorders, which may be responsible for malfunctioning of the kidneys and related complications.
• Insertion of Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Catheters, both acute and chronic (permcath/tench koff|
• Treatment and Care of patients during and after haemodialysis, including dialysis-related emergencies.
• Preparing patients for renal transplant.

Qualifications & Attributes:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
• Practising License from Botswana Health Professionals Council.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• Five (S) years post qualification Medical Experience
• Over two (3) years’ experience in the Treatment and Management of Patients with Kidney Related Illnesses.
• Experience in the insertion of Dialysis Catheters.
• Proven leadership and Management experience.
