DEPUTY CEO-PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Main Purpose of the Position
The successful Candidate will strategically and effectively lead and oversee the provision of corporate support functions, which includes (a) procurement, accounting, financial management services, (b) information technology services, (c) office facilities management services, (d) communication, and (e) human resource management.
Key Responsibilities
The Candidate will be responsible for the following among others:
- Overseeing and leading the provision of the corporate support services, and ascertaining that these are provided according to NBFlRA’s needs and expectations.
- Developing strategies and plans in line with corporate goals, successfully implementing, monitoring and evaluating thereof against targets
- Ensuring optimal resource planning, allocation, utilisation and management
- Promoting and supporting cross-functional exchanges among the Departments
- Maintaining good relations with key partners and other external stakeholders
- Drive any required organisational and cultural change across the authority
- Ensuring effective and efficient office and general administration services
- Ensuring quality IT support to users, and adoption of efficient and up to date IT platforms, applications, systems, services for operational efficiency
- Ensuring fair, transparent and value for money procurement
- Overseeing human resource management and development in view of attracting, retaining, motivating and developing a skilled and productive workforce
- Overseeing and leading the provision of the regulatory support services- covering Licensing, Data Management. Financial Stability and Statistics, and ascertaining that these are provided according to NBFlRA’s needs and expectations.
- Continuously improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the cluster and the Authority at large
Qualifications and Experience
The right candidate must possess the following qualifications and credentials:
- At least a master’s in Finance. Business. Management or related field from a recognized institution
- At least 15 years professional experience in a similar role, including at least 5 years in a senior management position
