VACANCY: Temporary ISPAAD Clerk- (3 POSTS)

VACANCY CIRCULAR NO. 1 OF 2022

Applications are invited from suitable qualified citizens for the above mentioned post in the Ministry of Agriculture in the Department of Crop Production tenable in District Crop Production Office – Kasane (2) and Pandamatenga (1) for a period of four (4) months.

SALARY SCALE: B5 (P 44 580 – P 51 744) per Annum

LEAVE: 20 Working Days Per Annum

Qualifications: Minimum of Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education with a pass in

Mathematics and should be able to read and write both Setswana and English

18-35 years of age.

• Have no criminal record
• Must be physically and mentally fit
• Must be of sober habits

Main Purpose of the Job: To perform ISPAAD clerical functions related to Accounts/Administration for the district.

Duties:

• Facilitating preparation of payment vouchers for ISPAAD farmers
• Maintaining proper records of monetary transactions
• Verifying documents for accuracy
• Filing all documents related to the program according to the established system for record and inspection purposes
• Providing records or information when required e.g. weekly reports
• Undertaking any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor, to meet the exigencies of the service.
