Job Title: Supervisor for 6-month Writing Internship

Job Type: Contract (6 months)

Salary: P2000 per month

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Supervisor to lead a 6-month Writing Internship program. The successful candidate will play a critical role in teaching and mentoring a team of interns on the craft of writing, including research, reporting, editing, and story development.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and mentor a team of writing interns
Provide guidance on the writing process, including research, reporting, and editing
Lead workshops and training sessions on various writing techniques and styles
Review and provide feedback on intern’s work
Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans
Ensure that all program goals and objectives are met
Provide guidance to interns on how to build their portfolio

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in media, journalism, English, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a writer/journalist
Strong writing and editing skills
Experience leading workshops or training sessions
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Passion for teaching and mentoring young writers
