⦁ Developing and growing the Advisory Services practice which include Transaction Advisory, Business Risk Services and Business Consulting.
⦁ Develop and manage client relationships.
⦁ Manage revenue generation. Identify opportunities and contribute to growth and development of the practice. Proactively participate in business development initiatives – including planning and preparation of business proposals. Liaise with other internal teams on cross selling opportunities and across the network for improved collaboration.
⦁ Responsible for overall client engagement acceptance and risk management process.
⦁ Responsible for delivering high quality services while adhering to compliance standards and Grant Thornton quality management manual. Comply with the quality requirements of the firm and take responsibility for handling the quality reviews relating to the Advisory services.
⦁ Lead and prepare thought leadership articles.
⦁ Lead people initiatives. Be an ambassador to spread firm culture and CLEARR values to the people. Mentoring team members, identifying areas of development, and coordinating training initiatives within the team; Review performance appraisal for team members for their growth and development.
⦁ Take a lead role relating to recruitment, selection, and induction of new team members, working in conjunction with People and culture.
⦁ Achieving / exceeding the team targets and ensuring the best utilisation of the Managers / Executives to achieve profitability on assignments and quality deliverables.
⦁ The applicant, if selected, will be reporting directly to the Managing Partner.
Qualification, experience and skills:
⦁ Candidate must hold a relevant degree in finance (BICA / CA / CFA / ACCA / CIMA / ICWA) and should possess membership of a professional body with a minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience in Advisory Services. Possession of additional qualifications is an added advantage.
⦁ A proven track record of managing a team of professionals is a necessity.
Competencies candidate must have:
⦁ People management skills. Business development and negotiation skills, Effective presentation, and Leadership skills.
⦁ Technical requirements / skills – Business valuations, Financial and commercial due diligence, Vendor due diligence, Buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions advisory, Capital markets, independent business reviews, financial modelling, Evaluation of investment options. Capital raising and restructuring, Purchase price allocation. Enterprise risk management, Internal audit and Finance transformation.
