Paratus is seeking to appoint a Technical: Head / Head of Technical. The Head of Technical will lead the organisation’s technical strategy, network architecture and operations, ensuring scalable, secure and high-performing infrastructure. The role includes overseeing network design, maintaining operational reliability, leading technical teams, escalation point for complex engineering, managing key projects, serving on group of companies technical committees and ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Minimum 15 years’ experience in telecommunications or IT, including senior technical leadership roles
Proven expertise in network architecture, design and operations
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
Relevant Professional certifications (e.g, CCIE, JNCIE, ACE-L7, or equivalent)
Strong Analytic skills in Complex Multi-vendor Environments
Strong Leadership and communication skills
Fibre Transmission: DWDM, OTN
Microwave Transmission: PTP Microwave, Fixed Wireless Access (FWA)
MPLS/IP Networks: Juniper, Cisco, Arista
Carrier Transit: Arista, Cisco
Cloud & Server Infrastructure Architecture
Backup & Data Protection Application Systems
Software Development Leadership
Network Security Architecture
