VACANCY CIRCULAR NO. 16 OF 2018

EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT FOR BOTSWANA CITIZENS ONLY

POST: QUANTITY SURVEYOR I (COMMUNITY CONSTITUENCY PROGRAM)

DURATION OF THE CONTRACT: 24   MONTHS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  in possession of Degree in Quantity Surveying and three (3) years driving license Class B.

WAGES:         C1 – (P144.072-P172.152) per  annum

LEAVE:          30 working days     per  annum.

EXPERIENCE:   minimum of three (3) years experience in the same field

BENEFITS:   Optional contributory  medical aid scheme 50% paid by the government and 50% paid by the employee

DUTIES

1. Liaises with other building professionals as necessary- to obtain information required for preparing cost estimates
2. Prepares Bills of Quantity to guide in the preparation of the budget of the project.

1. Monitors building projects progress to carry out cost control analysis in order to avoid possible cost overrun and suggests preventive measures.
2. Undertakes any other related duties as directed by management
