CORPORATE SECURITY ADVISOR

Overview
Orange invites candidates who wish to be part of a dynamic workforce to apply for the above position.

Reporting to Property, Fleet & Logistics Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that company assets are secure and safe at all times as well as employees and customers within company premises.

The main duties include but are not limited to:
Control the security of all the areas of the company, detect and investigate fraud, crime within the company and take appropriate action to normalise the situation and reduce the risk to the company.
Carry out internal investigations on various domain.
Manage and conduct security operations.

Conceive and follow up the implementation of Safety Awareness Programs.
Investigate all internal reported/detected cases of fraud and report to Management for disciplinary action or to Police.
Coordinate with external law enforcement agencies of prevalent criminal activities and advice Management.
Liaise with external law enforcement on possible threats and advice Management.
Supervise contracted security guards.
Ensure the maintenance and service of fire systems, access control rights.
Issue access cards to all staff (new & replacements).
Monitor and maintain all CCTV equipment and access control equipment to ensure that all systems are working at all times.
Ensure adherence and compliance with company policies as applicable.
Coordinate safety training for employees.
Provide first aid, fire drills and induction.

Skills:
Good knowledge of Security issues.
Good knowledge and understanding of Law enforcement procedures and Investigations.
Supervision skills.
Safety awareness.

Qualifications and experience:
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Security Management/ Business Administration/ Law/ Criminology or related field
3 years of experience in criminology, fraud, security (physical and electronic) or safety awareness.
No criminal record.
