Key Performance Areas

• To assist, guide and mentor agents in the selling process in the field
• To recruit capable agents so as to build effective sales teams
• To conduct and monitor activity management of the team members
• To provide activity management reports to sales management as per the agreed frequency
• To prepare and submit reports/dashboards within the set turnaround times as set out in the dash boards
• The team leader has a responsibility to meet set targets for the team they lead
• To monitor and ensure compliance of the team with the regulatory (NBFIRA) rules
• To vest agents as per the agreed bench mark
• To create business opportunities for teams

Qualification

Minimum qualification

• Diploma in Marketing/Business or related field
• Professional qualification in sales and marketing would be an added advantage
• COP is mandatory
• Minimum of 5 years experience in sales environment with a good understanding of the life insurance industry and sound experience in managing a team of people
• A track record in driving exceptional sales is a pre-requisite

Remuneration

The Team Leader will be remunerated in the form of a monthly allowance and an over rider that is tied to the team performance
