CLAIMS OFFICER – Kalafhi Medical Center

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a skilled Claims Officer to evaluate medical aid claims and collect the necessary documents for claims assessment.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Confirm and verify invoice compliance with medical aid requirements.
• Submit invoices to medical aid.
• Keep and action on all medical aid updates.
• Post payments received from medical aid.
• Clients credit control.
• Providing accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department.
• Prepare and maintain claims documents and records.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in Health Information Management, BS in Administration or any other relevant field.
• At least 1 year experience in the claims department.
• Driver’s license is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
• Hands on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
