Objectives:
• Excellent Communication (Oral and Written) skills to promote and increase the Company’s market share and revenue generation through the development and implementation of and informed /successful positioning strategies (communication skills, planning and execution, managing and reporting);
• Undertakes market research analysis in order to understand the current situation in the management consulting ( organizational development) sector and to determine the Company’s competitor advantage, market opportunity, risk assessment and any other information that is relevant to the company’s marketing strategy and business development in general;
• Develops a comprehensive marketing strategy that is suitable for revenue generation for management consulting and corporate training and skills development;

• Reporting to the Managing Director, he/she will be directly responsible for the business development aspect of the company and prioritizing brand management;
• Under the general guidance of the Managing Director, the Sales and Marketing executive will be responsible for the ensuring excellence in customer services and satisfaction, thus ensuring the Company maximizes its profitability;
• Liaising with other Consultants in the Company to give feedback and updates on trends and developments in the market such as product development, quality management, competition, general information that is useful for business development;
• Maintains all sales statistics and sales reports which are shared with the other Consultants and directors. All work is carried out in line with the Company’s guidelines and business plan, the departmental business plan and overall business development activities. The role will require strong leadership, creativity, passion and it is essential to be able to work effectively within a dynamic small senior team environment. It is expected that the Sales and Marketing Manager/Executive will be proactive and get involved in all aspects of the business operation as and when required.

• Keeps updated information about relevant events and expos for the Company’s promotional activities
Educational background & Experience:
• Degree in Marketing/ Business Development or any other business related degree or experience
Skills /Attributes:
The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:
Knowledge of:
• Office procedures, methods, and equipment including computers and applicable software applications such as word processing, spread sheets, and databases.
• Mature, , creative, reliable and able to work unsupervised

Ability to:
• Work independently in the absence of supervision.
• Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Note: The qualified candidate will be required to work 1 day a week at the Botswana Public Officers Medical Aid Scheme (BPOMAS) at Fairgrounds.
