DIRECTOR BRAND BOTSWANA (INTERNATIONAL PORTFOLIO)

Main purpose of the job

To promote the identity and visibility of Botswana through applying Brand Management strategies in order to increase awareness, acceptance and understanding of the Nation Brand by defined international stakeholders.

Key Performance Areas

• Contributes to development and review of Nation Brand Strategies; and ensures alignment of other branding initiatives to overall nation brand program.
• Implements prudent financial management to facilitate execution of International and National Portfolio initiatives.
• Implements and manages the Marketing, Communication and Stakeholder Relations strategies for the International and Domestic portfolios.

• Coordinates Customer Relations Management (CRM) to support implementation of International Portfolio.
• Participates in the development of Nation Brand Strategies.
• Drives innovative ways of engaging International audiences forthe growth of the Nation Brand Awareness.
• Tracks and manages Botswana’s global reputation through media and social media engagement.

Educational qualifications and experience

Degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing or equivalent but preferably master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications or Branding with eight years, three of which should have been at Junior Management level within a corporate environment.
