EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY – ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

Gasa Holdings is an Engineering and Logistics Company based in Francistown and is looking for a professional and enthusiastic individual to join our team. The individual will not only be carrying out accounts related duties but will also be expected to provide support to the Management Team on various aspects of the business including sound financial integrity and timeous reporting of financial information.

The individual will primarily be responsible for, but not limited to the following;

• Ensure financial entries are loaded onto the G/L and maintain Accounts Payable by ensuring complete and accurate records of all payments.
• Compiling, analyzing and reporting financial data.
• Creating periodic reports such as balance sheets and P/L statements.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Computing taxes i.e. VAT. WHT, PAYE.
• Liaising with BURS on tax matters.
• Preparing pay slips and running payroll.
• Preparing payment requirements and schedule.

Qualifications & Experience

• AAT or HND Accountancy
• 2-3 years’relevant experience
• Intermediate Excel
