Game Changer Holdings (PTY) LTD is a startup company in the Horticulture industry. The company is wholly owned by young and vibrant Batswana.

Position Overview

We are looking for a young, vibrant, persuasive individual with a very determined attitude looking to gain valuable experience while helping us grow our start-up company.

General Responsibilities

• Helping with business plan development and all other documents required to secure funding with the guidance of directors.
• Performing all the market research required to prove the viability of a horticultural project including but not limited to helping secure the required clients
• Working on, gathering and submitting all the documentation required for licensing and compliance by local regulatory authorities.
• Liaising with and supervising of contractors engaged by the company.
• Ensuring that the directors are aware of current issues at all times.
• Adequate accounting and bookkeeping for the company’s budget.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a diploma in Marketing or related qualifications
• Must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
• At least 1 year experience in a horticulture related projects is desirable.
• Ability to develop business proposal
• Very fluent written and oral skills in both Setswana and English.
• Must have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Strong desire for continued growth and learning
• Interest in agriculture and tourism industries

Remuneration

• This position is offered with an initial 1 year contract with the possibility of renew.
• The position attracts a monthly wage of BWP 2000, a monthly BWP 200 Airtime Allowance and a monthly BWP 800 as a transportation allowance.
• Gratuity at end of contract
• Upon first engagement, a 2 months probation period will apply.
• No office will be provided; you will work from home and anywhere else necessary.
