Duty Manager – 1 Position Available

The main role of the Duty Manager is to assist the Couple Managers in all aspects of managing Manong Game Lodge – primarily, Reservations, Admin and Hosting as well as Catering & Housekeeping. The person must be able to function in a work environment that is hands-on and where service and hospitality are of prime importance. The Duty Manager is also responsible for the ensuring that paperwork is correctly documented.

Basic Job description:
• Hosting of guests
• Stand-in for the Managers when one or both managers are on leave or OFF
• Strong admin is required
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness and appearance
• Bar and meal service
• Stock takes and ordering of some departments
• Lodge shopping as required

Skills
• Familiar with Micros and Opera or similar systems
• Attention to Detail
• Good work ethic
• Professionalism
• Available to work shifts, over weekends and on public holidays.

Applicants must have 1 to 2 years in a similar position or 2 to 3 years in a supervisory position in the hospitality industry.
