ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE-GROUP BUSINESS INSURANCE

Job Requirements

Reporting to the Senior Manager (Group Funeral Business)
• Supervise of all production activities of subordinate staff including checking all their work for compliance with process maps and technical manual.
• Administration and management of key portfolios allocated to the team.
• Acquisition of new business through prospecting, participation in tenders and obtaining referrals.
• Liaison with insurers on operational issues including premium payments and claims recoveries.
• Ensure that all premiums are collected within 60 days of placement of cover and to take responsibility for any debtors that go beyond 60 days.
• Provide monthly and weekly performance reports for the team unit including variance analysis
• Management of all lapses and potential lapses to ensure maximum retention of business.
• Assistance in developing new products and schemes to address client needs.

Key Qualification Requirements

The candidate should have the following: –
• Bachelor’s degree or any related business degree
• Certificate of proficiency
• Progress towards AIISA or IISA
• At least 3 year’s sales/ marketing experience in Group Funeral Insurance
