LIAISES
INTERNALLY: Outreach Officers, Outreach Coordinator, Organisational Development Officer
EXTERNALLY: Stakeholders, Community Leaders, a designated supervisor in the host organisation
II. PURPOSE OF POSITION
• To mobilise communities to utilise locally available resources to identify and respond to Gender Based Violence
III. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Organises and conducts community GBV awareness raising and prevention activities
• Produces timely monthly reports
• Promotes BGBVC services
• Assists host organisation in carrying out GBV activities
• Develops individual work plans based on needs of the community.
• Assists in formation and support of village ward committees
• Liaises with community and stakeholders in carrying out BGBVC mandate.
• Participates in community events – fairs, parades, etc. that are regularly scheduled on nights and weekends
• Distributes organisational materials throughout assigned areas
• Assists in evaluating outreach services and make recommendations
• Participates in resource mobilisation efforts.
• Undertakes any other related duties as may be required by the supervisor

• Raise community awareness on GBV
• Produce timely monthly reports

VI. PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Training Qualifications:
• Certificate in Public Health or related field
Relevant Experience:
• One (1) year experience in similar field
