VACANCY CIRCULAR NO. 4 OF 2020
POST(S): TEMPORARY TEACHER AIDES
-The Ministry of Basic Education – Kgalagadi Region has temporary employment opportunities hence suitably qualified Botswana citizens are invited.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
- Assisting pupils based on prescribed syllabi, supervising, caretaking, scribing, guiding & counselling pupils, maintaining records & participating in extracurricular activities.
DUTIES:
- Ensure that the learning environment is policy & framework complaint as guided by the teacher.
- Do related & support clerical work as instructed by the teacher & assisting students as per the difficulty.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•The eligible candidate should have a minimum of Form 5 Certificate (BGCSE or COSC) or its equivalent.
•Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education.
•Local person particularly to support indigenous activities and language.
COMPETENCIES:
•Knowledge about learning framework.
•Know how students learn.
•Basic knowledge of students with Special Educational and how they may be supported.
•Be conversant with the dominant or local language.
•Certificate of Tirelo Sechaba if any.
SALARY SCALE:
•CECE B1 (P79 116.00 – P93 480-00) per annum
•BGCSE/COSC B5 (P42 456.00 – P49 272) per annum
REQUIREMENTS:
- Full and up to date CV which includes full contact details (cell no).
- Certified copies of Omang.
- Certified Copies of certificates.
- 2 recent references.
