Management Accountant – Brastorne

Key Responsibilities 

• Overall responsibility for the company’s reporting requirements which includes but not limited to product analysis, expense and income analysis, Key Ratio Analysis, management accounts, Financial Statements.
• Responsibility for assisting the CFO in preparation of annual budgets and the five-year rolling financial forecasts plan.
• Responsible for the company’s product financial plans as well as financial performance vs. expectations
• Develop presentations and reporting to senior management on financial performance, portfolio analysis, variances from targets, updates on ongoing activities, and recommend action plans for improvement
• Deliver ad-hoc analyses and develop financial models to help us better understand performance, trends and impacts of decisions.
• Cash flow and liquidity management to ensure maintenance of an optimum cash position.
• Responsible for coordinating the company’s annual audit

Attributes and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Full or part ACCA or CIMA will be an added advantage Flexible and resourceful
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in finance and accounting.
• knowledge and experience in Financial Planning and systems evaluation
• Proven clean record of service and leadership ability.
• Competence in computerized financial reporting systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial figures.
• Good financial reporting and analysis skills
• Working knowledge of various computer programmes such as MS Excel, Ms Power point, and MS Word and Accounting Packages.
• Ability to establish, implement and review control systems.
