BOOK KEEPER – ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

Brandz Unlimited is looking for results oriented, self-driven, team-playing, suitably qualified individuals to work as an administration assistant dealing with the specific area of Book keeping.

Positions tenable in Gaborone.

Minimum requirements

• Must possess appropriate qualification like certificate or diploma or AAT level 4 in Finance and Accounting
• Must have minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
•  Must be computer literate specially in Excel Operations since all accounting entries are done in Excel Spreadsheets.
• Must be able to control staff
• Work under tight schedules with minimum supervision
• Leadership skills
• Fluent in both written and spoken Setswana and English
• Must possess a driving license
• Must be willing to travel within Botswana
• At least three or more traceable references will be required

Key responsibilities of the job are: –
• To oversee the day to day financial operations of all the store
• Daily Cash Accounting of all the stores
• Ensuring compliance by all store managers
• Preparation of Debtors and Creditors summaries
• Prepare vat reports and submit to BURS
• Prepare Trail Balances and Management Accounts monthly.
• Prepare Salaries and wages

Remuneration

Bookkeepers have an initial monthly renumeration range of between P2000 – P3000 (of which P1500 is basic and remaining is performance based); in addition, an overnight allowance will be paid when required.
