The Continuous Engineering Education (CEE) Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a comprehensive program of ongoing professional development and training for engineers within the organization. They work to ensure that engineers are equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices.

– Assess the continuous learning and professional development needs of engineers across various departments and specialties
– Develop and implement a strategic CEE plan that aligns with the organization’s overall business objectives and the professional growth requirements of engineers
– Collaborate with internal subject matter experts, external industry partners, and educational institutions to curate and deliver a diverse range of training programs, workshops, and learning opportunities
– Manage the logistics of CEE events, including scheduling, venue coordination, participant registration, and resource procurement
– Promote the CEE program within the organization, raising awareness and encouraging active participation among engineers
– Maintain a centralized repository of training materials, course records, and participant attendance data to track progress and monitor program effectiveness
– Analyze CEE program metrics, such as participant satisfaction, knowledge retention, and skill application, to continuously improve the quality and relevance of the content
– Identify and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies that can enhance the delivery and impact of the CEE program
– Collaborate with the human resources department to ensure that the CEE program is aligned with the organization’s talent management and performance review processes
– Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging engineering practices to incorporate relevant content into the CEE program
– Manage the CEE program budget, allocating resources efficiently and ensuring cost-effectiveness
Required Skills and Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in engineering, education, or a related field
– 3-5 years of experience in training coordination, instructional design, or professional development program management
– Strong understanding of the latest trends, best practices, and industry advancements in the engineering discipline
– Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and facilitate learning for diverse audiences
– Proficient in the use of learning management systems, virtual training platforms, and other educational technology tools
– Project management skills to plan, organize, and execute CEE events and initiatives effectively
– Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, HR professionals, and training providers
– Familiarity with adult learning principles and the design of effective training programs that enhance knowledge retention and skill development
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate program data and continuously improve the CEE offering
– Certifications in instructional design, training facilitation, or project management (e.g., PMP) are preferred
